How 3D Boards Got Started
3D Boards started in Bozeman, Montana, out of two things: loving fingerboarding and loving to build stuff.
We're two makers who got tired of paying a lot for fingerboard gear that felt mass-produced and generic. Between CAD work, 3D printers, and a lot of trial and error, we figured we could design and print our own decks, obstacles, and setups — and make them good.
Every board that goes out the door gets printed, then hand-finished by us. That means sanding down layer lines, checking grip tape fit, and making sure the thing actually rides well before it ships. Nothing here comes off an assembly line.
We started small, printing a handful of boards at a time out of Bozeman, and we're still doing that. Small batches, real hands on every piece, and prices that don't punish you for wanting a decent setup.
